The closest thing you’ll probably get that I’ve found is the NFS game right after that, Carbon. It was kind of a spiritual successor to NFS Underground 2 and brought a lot of gameplay elements from Most Wanted with it. I personally enjoyed it a lot. There’s Burnout Paradise. It unfortunately has no story, but the gameplay is fantastic.
